Swoon Paper Co. was founded by Sarah in 2012, but her passion for stationery has been lifelong. From childhood, she was fascinated by paper's textures and possibilities, fueling her early drawing and hand-lettering passion. This interest, combined with a love for geometry and design principles, led her to explore graphic illustration.

In 2010, after leaving her teaching career to raise her son, Sarah began designing custom invitations and party decor. Finding a lack of unique options, she taught herself graphic design and quickly gained recognition for her work. This prompted her to open an Etsy shop, where she made her first sale within days.
